The Mauser blaster is a nice little package. This holds it’s own amonsgt the D.Eagle and the few Glocks that are around. I like the clip and it’s easy to load, Great for pick up and play muck around and the battery has a nice snug spot in the hand piece which is secured with a screw so it won’t come loose. I bought 2 for duel goodness

It is a very nice blaster, it has a internal metal barrel that’s 10cm long with a inner barrel diameter of 5mm (caliper used). The barrel does not run the full length of the blaster, there’s about 5cm of void space before the muzzle. Despite having a 5mm bore it feeds milkies anf yellows really well. No shredding of gels or anything like that out of the barrel, with no fouling or gel debris in the space before the plastic muzzle or at the piston nozzle. FPS is betwwen 120 to 140, semi or full automatic fire depending on how far you pull the trigger. Full automatic will sometimes feed 2 gels in the 1 shot.

The magazine holds a decent amount of gels, and has a rear filling door. I purchased another magazine(s) from Renegade and they are of the exact same construction. Magazine size is larger than say a Glock or 1911 mag, these mags are base on the 20 round magazine for the 9mm C96 Mauser. I am not sure of the spring size or if an O ring is being used. However to get to the spring you will need to open the gear box as it’s all contained in one module; inside the blaster is very clean, with good wiring, a simple flush layout and you can see an effort was made in it’s production / fit.

The muzzle cap will need to be removed if you want to pull the blaster apart. Hold the blaster in one hand, rotate the muzzle cap clockwise 90 degrees, to the 3 o’clock position, and then pull it off the barrel. Expect stiffness as the muzzle cap holds both halves of the plastic outer barrel together. I got caught out on this so I pass this information on to you for prosperity.

We need more blasters like this, it looks nice, it’s from another era of time and it offers us visual variety. It is a bulky piece however, but it has style points that will elevate you above all the other peasants running Glocks and Desert Eagles. The only let down to this blaster was that they moulded a 20mm picatinny rail over the ejection port area, which clashes with my brandy in one hand and C96 Mauser in the other hand purist vibe I try to propogate as i pose in front of bathroom mirror.

This blaster could be a good starting place for a Cosplay space smuggler blaster as well.

By far one of the best pistols, more reliable than the glock or deagle with a larger stock ammo capacity (the glock drum mags of course get u more) but with afew minor upgrades this thing can push to the 220-240 FPS mark. Just upgrade the spring, metal barrel and file down a stock piston head to fit and some slight modification to the existing and you can make a perfect air seal… *bonus* when you upgrade the barrel make it 10mm longer for a hopup, ive got the rizer r1 on mine and the perfect air seal makes it quiet so its like its suppressed.
